If your rego renewal is coming up and you need a pink slip, there is no reason to drive across Sydney or sit in a waiting room. We bring our fully equipped, TfNSW authorised inspection service directly to your door in The Rocks, whether that is your home, your workplace, or a job site. Book a time that suits you and we handle the rest.
The Rocks is one of Sydney's most historic and tightly settled precincts, with narrow heritage laneways, busy tourist thoroughfares along Argyle Street, and a workforce that moves quickly between the wharves, hotels, and offices surrounding Circular Quay. Parking and scheduling are already a challenge here, so we deliberately designed our service to remove the added burden of taking your vehicle to a workshop. Our mobile mechanics come to wherever your car is parked, right across The Rocks and the surrounding CBD fringe, and carry out your eSafety check on the spot.
Same Day Pink Slip and Mobile eSafety Check
We offer same-day appointments across The Rocks, meaning you can book in the morning and have your eSafety check completed before the afternoon. Once your vehicle passes, we transmit the result digitally to Transport for NSW straight away, so you can renew your registration online without delay. There are no paper forms to chase and no follow-up visits to a registry office.
Mobile Car Inspections for Residents, Workers, and Rideshare Drivers
Whether you live in the heritage terrace homes near Argyle Place, work in one of the hotels along Cumberland Street, or drive for a rideshare platform and need to keep your vehicle compliant, our mobile car inspections are built for your lifestyle. We work around your schedule, not the other way around. Fleet operators with vehicles based near the Overseas Passenger Terminal or Walsh Bay precincts can also arrange bulk inspection bookings to keep their fleet on the road.
An eSafety check (commonly called a pink slip) is required for any NSW-registered light vehicle that is more than five years old before it can be renewed. The NSW Government sets the regulated fee for a light vehicle inspection at $51, and we add a transparent mobile call-out fee on top of that to cover travel to your location. There are no hidden charges and we tell you the full cost before we arrive.
What the Inspection Covers
Our mechanics assess all safety-critical components of your vehicle, including brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, lights, windscreen, seatbelts, and structural condition. We check that your vehicle meets the standards set by Transport for NSW and note any items that require attention.
Minor On-the-Spot Repairs
If your vehicle fails due to a minor issue such as a blown globe or worn wiper blades, we can carry out those small repairs on the spot in many cases, allowing us to complete the inspection during the same visit. If a more significant fault is identified, we will explain what needs to be fixed and you have a 14-day free re-inspection window to return for a follow-up check once repairs are done.
We are fully authorised by Transport for NSW, licensed, and comprehensively insured. Our mechanics are experienced across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, from everyday passenger cars to commercial light vehicles and rideshare-registered vehicles. We carry out every inspection to the same standard regardless of where we are parked, whether that is a tight residential street near the Garrison Church or a loading bay near the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Do not let a rego deadline sneak up on you. Whether you are parking on Gloucester Street, stationed near the Harbour Bridge approaches, or working anywhere across The Rocks precinct, our team is ready to come to you. We make the eSafety check process as simple and stress-free as possible, with same-day availability, digital result transmission, and mechanics who know the local area.
In most cases we can offer a same-day or next-day appointment in The Rocks. Simply call us on 0410 131 455 and we will find the earliest available slot. We recommend booking as early in the day as possible if you need a result before your rego expires.
If your vehicle does not pass, we will give you a clear written list of the items that need to be rectified. You then have 14 days to carry out those repairs and return for a free re-inspection. There is no additional inspection fee for that follow-up visit, provided it falls within the 14-day window.
The regulated inspection fee is $51 for a light vehicle, as set by NSW. Our mobile call-out fee is added to this and covers travel to your location in or around The Rocks. We confirm the total cost with you before confirming your booking, so there are no surprises on the day.
